Recently calling myself The Chairlift Poet, I can be spotted on ski lifts sharing my verse with the majestic mountains and skiers of the Rockies. When I was a young boy and it came time for my mother’s birthday or Mother’s Day I would often write her a poem – the truest gift I could give from my heart. It took many years to fully claim my gift as a poet despite looking back on the trail of poetry throughout my teens and twenties. Today I claim poetry as a craft which I have made a life-long dedication to. Each poem is a channel, like one file pulled out of the full spectrum of quantum possibility, and brought to life via the courtship of my muse. I now offer my words as a joyous give-away of my heart and soul. Whatever your reaction to my craft – I pray it beneficial.
